Erica’s Answer

Hi Kody,

Just to chime in. Trade schools can be very costly, I would also recommend checking out your local community college to see if they offer any automotive majors. Sometimes it’s not on the credited side, meaning they may offer it through their community education programs. This will be a lot cheaper than a trade school and are generally certificates that can be completed within a year or two.

Dr. James’s Answer

I know by me, there are several mechanic school that focus on fixing cars. Others focus on bigger vehicles and boats. You will just have to do to google search for those trade schools. Also, to work in certain shops, such as BMW, Mercedes, etc, you will need certain certifications. Those trade schools can assist you with those.
