Kira’s Answer

you will need to prove that you can do what is being asked of you.

Therefore you need to document any projects or programs that you have done in the immediate past or near future.

You should also figure out how to MARKET your abilities as something that the organization needs and how you can fill that position with your experience.

for example, if you want a business management job, read the job descriptions and identify the specific tasks or processes that they need to have fulfilled for them and then set about answering each of those in your own words first.

then draft a response with evidence for how you have done and can do the task that they have asked of you

While a degree does go a long way, your experience matters a lot more! I would recommend looking at Chegg for career internships as well as LinkedIn! These platforms are extremely helpful in helping you understand what it is you want to do as well as increasing your skillset!

Teneil’s Answer

Letlotlo I think it all depends on what the post it is. A matric and leadership experience is always a strong start.
A college/university education is always a good idea but will depend on what job and opportunities you are looking for.

Many corporations require a 4 year degree for management train ing programs or entry level position s. However, there are many careers for which there are technical ratings and industry certifications that will allow w to secure a post. Professional debt should continue throughout your Career in order to stay relevant and advance.

Elena’s Answer

I have worked at Oracle and Salesforce in sales and they do require a 4-year degree as part of their hiring process. If you are looking more technical job, you can get certification and acquire some experience and get a job without needing a formal education. In some smaller companies or start-ups, you can probably get a job without a 4-year degree in sales, marketing, etc. It all depends on the job you want to do and where you are looking to work.
