Hi Jiale,

This is a great question!

Well, you need to have the following things:

1. You should be clear with what you want. As it will keep you focused.
2. Stay as a learner. Keep learning and exploring your life.
3. Stay organized with your to-do list of the day.
4. Respect time and practice time management techniques.
5. Make sure to find some time for self-development and your family.

Remember! Don't be too busy to ignore self-development and your family. As they are an important part of a successful life.

Stay healthy by keeping yourself fit and fine always. People often ignore their health!

In a nutshell, 'If you have a health, you have a wealth'

I hope my answer is helpful!

Enrique’s Answer

In my opinion, Persistence and Determination are the key factors in professional and personal success. Simply, that means to keep going, even when suffering a setback/defeat, just get back up and keep going. We all hit setbacks in our lifetime, and so will you, and thats okay, you just have to lean forward and keep going.

Calvin Coolidge - “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men/women with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

Mary’s Answer

Only you can define success. It will evolve over time, will change as you go through life.

To some, a successful career is a high salary. To others it is a job they love.

What can you do? Keep in mind that your teens and twenties are your years to try different paths, to make mistakes, to make changes. Success may be a degree and landing a job in that field. Or it may be an apprenticeship in a trade that you are interested in. So to get there, set goals and work hard. Revise these goals when necessary. Listen to those who are older and experienced. And listen to your own gut.

Bee Eng’s Answer

Hi Jiale,

Here are some tips on how to be successful in life for your reference.
1. Find what you love to do and do it
- When you have found what you are passionate about, you will get the motivation to keep you moving, so you will on the road to success.
2. Do not be afraid of failure
- I believe you heard of the story of Thomas Edison inventing the lightbulb. Thomas Edison inventing the lightbulb was the result of several
hundred failed attempts. In an interview, he was asked “How do you feel after all of your failed attempts?” His response was great, “I didn’t
fail, I learned hundreds of ways not to invent the lightbulb”. He saw each “failure” as a lesson. From that lesson he learned what won’t work,
and also might work instead.
3. Be a person of action
- Don’t be afraid of going outside the norm. If you can think of a better way to do something, do it that way. If you fail, try again.
4. Cultivate positive relationships
- From Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of America: “The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get
along with people.” In a simple logic, help people and they may help you; and be good to people, and they my be good to you. Same goes to
have positive relationship with your family members too.

Hope these help! All the best!

Giavanna’s Answer

Hi Jiale! That's a great question that many people are still figuring out, including myself. It's important to make sure your goals and what you want to do make you feel fulfilled. Success is measured differently by everyone. To one person, success could mean owning a company and making millions but, to someone else, success could mean finding the right person to have a family with. Regardless of where your goals lie, staying present during the process is crucial. The process is where you learn the most about life and about yourself. It's what develops and transforms you into who you want to be.

Curtis’s Answer

What do you need to do to be sucessful in your lifetime?

First and foremost asking the question to an audience is a great first step. You have many responses here and all drive the message for you to review/take action. I would also suggest understanding what you are capable of which is anything you put your mind/passion into. My motto is "do something", make sure you enjoy it and once started - complete the task(s).
