Hi,

Some states that prohibit those under 18 from organizing like: Colorado, Texas, Illinois... but most of states are allow: California, Delaware, Nevada.

Of course you can interest from high paying companies! Most of the company not only focus on grade but more focus on who you are. Grade might be a barrier when you apply for a job, but that does not mean everything. My advise is try your best to show your personality and you will find the right job for you!

Good grades is a plus, however, there are a lot of factors taken into consideration when companies hire employees: personality, attitude/character, skills, etc. There are some who didn't complete a college degree who have landed 6-figure salaries due to their inter-personal skills.... that means how you get along with others. Skills that you need in order to advance in your chosen career can be learned in many ways. Also, it's important that you "love" what you are doing and that you are motivated to do your best.

Dirk’s Answer

Your header and question do not really align. Unless I understand it wrong.

Header: Can you start a LLC (Limited Liability Company) under the age of 18? Depends on which state you are living in, as each state has their own regulations. It is possible in some states I believe. Google can help you of course.

Question regarding grades: Maybe, but good grades never hurt...
When companies hire you, they tend to look at the whole picture, not just at your grades. But, your grades also do reflect you, ie are you a hard worker? Are you smart? Are you able to think outside the box? If you are able to show this, maybe through other means, like internships with excellent referrals, working full time while taking full class loads, running student organizations successfully, organizing (charity) events, having started a small company etc., your not-so-good grades might not way in that much.
Also depends on what kind of positions you are looking for with 'high paying companies'. If you are an Accounting Major, interested in Big4 work, then grades will likely be more important, as you will be hired to be client facing, and in that case, the Big4 want to show their clients that they only have the best of the best available...
