Hi, How attainable is a good career in Information Technology?

I just finished my first degree in computer engineering, with a 2:2. and recently gained admission to study Information technology at MSc level. I however have completed my CCNP cisco examinations and confused on career paths to take as I'm also interested in information/ cyber security #professional

Make sure that you select the path which you like the most. Never do a work which you do for sake of job. This way you will have constant interested in job and it will enhance your efficiency at work.


If you like coding then go for developer jobs. If you like hacking then go for Ethical hacking jobs.

Step one would be to define what a "good career is in IT. I would encourage you not to lock yourself in to one discipline early and explore many (application development, networking, etc) before making a final decision. I started my career by offering simple services to friends and family like desktop support and web development. This allowed me to build my resume and confidence in abilities. I also learned that I hated to do websites! Best wishes in your search for a career in IT.
