Which major might be a good fit for me if I am most interested in humanities or social sciences, but I want to work with people, especially kids?

I am a junior in high school, so I am still trying to figure out my interests, but my favorite subjects are English and sciences.

Education, anthropology, social work, psychology would be the ones I'd look into

Hi Lizzie - As someone who had this same struggle in deciding my college major and understanding my interests, I recommend you take some time to think about your personal and career goals; and your strengthens and weaknesses!! I've attached some questions below to help you. Also take a next step and think you want to do with kids? Are you interested in helping kids in the foster system (social work), would you like to be a therapist, or a teacher? Take some time to think about your future self (yes, it's scary!!!), then take steps backwards to see how you got there - that will help you decide your best path forward :)

Strengths:
What am I enjoying doing?
What are my unique skills?
What are skills that I have but others don’t?
What do others see as my strengths?

Weaknesses:
What stopped me from achieving my goal?
What do I need to improve to achieve my goal?
What are my bad habits?

Opportunities:
How can my network help me with my future career?
How can my skills fill the need in the industry that I want to work in?
Is there any significant change in the industry that I can take advantage of?

Threats:
What are my current limitations?
