How can I take the steps to get into brow artistry while college bound?

I am a sophomore in college, and I really want to become financially free through brow artistry, but I'm not sure where to begin in getting training, certification, and getting my business up and running while balancing school, but I know I can do it.

Hello Angel,

Embarking on a journey to become a brow artist? That's fantastic! Here's a roadmap to guide you while you're still in college:

• Start by investigating the rules and guidelines for brow artists in your area. This could involve acquiring a license, certification, or registration to legally practice brow artistry. You might also need to fulfill a specific number of training, education, or apprenticeship hours.

• Sign up for a well-regarded brow artistry course or program. This should cover both basic and advanced brow artistry techniques like eyebrow mapping, shaping, waxing, threading, tinting, henna, lamination, microblading, and ombre shading. You can discover such courses online or on-campus at beauty schools, colleges, or academies.

• Hone your skills on yourself, friends, family, or classmates. You could also offer to do brows for local events, charities, or organizations. This will not only build your confidence and experience but also help you create a portfolio as a brow artist.

• Connect with fellow brow artists and professionals in the beauty industry. Join online forums, groups, or communities to learn from others, share your work, receive feedback, and uncover opportunities. Attending workshops, seminars, or conferences can also help you meet and network with experts and mentors.

• Establish a professional online presence and portfolio that highlights your brow artistry skills. Social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube are great for posting photos and videos of your work to attract potential clients. Consider creating a website or blog to share your tips, techniques, and testimonials.

These steps will help you pave your way into the world of brow artistry while you're still in college. Remember, the path to becoming a successful brow artist requires time, dedication, and passion. Stay committed to learning new skills and trends, practicing your craft, and expanding your network and client base.

Best Wishes!

Hello Angel,

Rise and shine! If you're able to locate a beauty boutique specializing in brow artistry within a 10-kilometer radius of your college or your home, that would be fantastic. You can easily find such places by doing a quick Google search. Just type in "eyebrow tattooing beauty salon" or "brow artist" and hit the search button.

Once you've found a suitable place, why not give their services a try? It's a much friendlier approach than simply showing up unannounced! While you're there, express your admiration for their work and your eagerness to lend a hand. Make sure to compensate them for their services...

Afterwards, retreat to the comfort of your own room and pray for the opportunity to work there. Remember, every prayer counts!
