First, know that dreams can change and thats ok. Do not feel bad if you get to where you thought your dream was and its not for you. It happens to many of us. Formulate a new dream and go after that one.
To achieve the dream, figure out what it actually takes. What's the work it takes to get there. Ask people who already do that questions of how they got there and any advice they can give. Those who are doing it are aware of what they did and should have done to get there. You can learn from their experience.

What a great question! This is something that I'm very focused on, Albert, and I'll tell you why. I currently have 28 years working at Verizon...I started straight out of high school, because my focus was to work and earn a living, NOT on my dream job. Those 28 years have been amazing, however, in my most recent role, which I've held for almost 2 years, I have found true joy in what I do. I am a trainer, who provides various learning programs to new and existing employees. Now, let's get to the nitty gritty of the advice. Albert, the way to find your dream job is, in my humble opinion, is by doing these two things.
First, to continue to stay open to all new experiences. Never say you are not interested in learning, seeing, shadowing, exploring anything. The more you close off your options, the less likely you will be to stumble upon something that brings you genuine joy and fulfillment.
Which leads me to the second thing: hone in on what fulfills you. Sometimes we can do the smallest of tasks, but when we reflect, we can find what motivates us. As an example, when I first started in Verizon as a customer service representative, I always raised my hands to help out with job aids, with clarifying and distributing information to help everyone do a better job. I used to think I was just buying myself time off the phones, but in fact, it was what I was drawn to. These tasks made me feel like I was not only a part of something bigger, but that I had the privilege of affecting change, even in a small way. In hindsight, I can see so many situations where, had I reflected further, would have lead me to where I am today, my dream job.
Besides those two things, my friend, please be patient with yourself, and give yourself grace. Trust that life is a process in every way, and while I could have gotten this job many years ago, every single experience in the 26 years prior to arriving here has been valuable, and a necessary step towards my ultimate 'happy place'. When we look at the span of our lives, where a human can live an average of 85-90 years, we should always keep in perspective how much time is ahead of us, and factor that into our current realities. You, Albert, have all the time in the world to figure things out. Stay steady, reflect often, and be patient.

My favorite way to determine if a job or project (or career!) is the right one for me is to first create a list of the SPECIFIC activities I love and loathe. In other words, don't just say "I love troubleshooting problems" - dig deeper - what kind of problems? in what platforms or situations? for whom or with whom? for what purpose or objective?
After you create your list of let's say 8-10 loves and 3-5 loathes, use them to ask questions of people who are doing jobs that you think you might be interested in. Ask them, "how many of THESE activities do you do in your work and how often?" This can then help you to compare jobs to each other, in the hopes of finding the one that will have the MOST of your loves, and the LEAST of your loathes.

- Explore the topic on the side, write a blog or look for internships
- Leverage any opportunities you can get via your school. Most high schools and colleges offer roles for students or internships that give you a change to try something out.
- Talk to any adults you know. See if they have connections that can help you.
- Volunteer in a similar field. There are a lot of non-profits looking for help.
- Show your passion to interviewers by preparing. Learn about the company you're applying to. Use their products(s). Show them how you've used them.
- Be persistent. Reach out to a lot of people for help. Follow up. Show you're committed.
