The two certifications that you'll want to obtain is one in Food Safety Handling and one in Certified Culinary Educator. You may find out the details of these certifications via a search on the internet.

In order to obtain the position as a teacher, you will have to work as a chef and build a solid history of work experience. This work experience should be one that allows you to grow into a leadership role and take on a lot of responsibility.
