Thank you for your question. This is a very good question. Different people may have different definition.
However, below are a few elements that I think are always essential:
1. Complete the assignment and projects on time and in good quality
2. Pay attention in the class and fully engage in class discussions
3. Review the class material on the same day after school and raise question asap
4. Prepare the next day class in advance
5. Help the classmates when they need
6. Actively participate extra curriculum activities
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Susan’s Answer

To me, a good student is one who is intellectually engaged, curious about the world and wants to learn. Perhaps the material is not completely riveting at all times, but the student understands that there is something important to be gleaned from it. This student not only comes to class (unless ill), pays attention and does the work, but also shows interest in the topic, works hard to find something interesting about it, even if it's not their cup of tea. The student appreciates that the teacher is there, trying to help them. A good student can learn something even from a bad teacher--even if it's how NOT to teach! A good student either knows how to write well or is very willing to learn to do so, is not afraid to ask questions, and is willing to ask for help when needed. I wish you all the best--God bless you!
