The truth is that you will likely have a few jobs in life and they may span a couple different career types.
The best any of us can do is to work hard, continue to grow and do the best we can with what we have.
Many people- who thought they were secure- recently lost their job as a result of layoffs. This is why networking and having connections (in addition to working hard at work) will be helpful. There are no guarantees, but your daily effort will matter.

However, what I can say is, as you work at it, you'll begin to get a sense of whether you're happy or not, whether you're finding fulfilment or not and whether or not you feel some level of alignment with your purpose in life. These and many other markers should inform you of whether you're going to be okay.
Also as a side note, remember that life is uncertain so always take it one day at a time. Be present in the here and now while having your goals at your side.

Have you ever looked yourself in the mirror and asked if you really like what you are doing, wish to maintain the same energy despite any challenge or obstacle that comes your way in the next five years? You should understand that consistency is the major factor for successful results. So, to be honest with you, fact checked your level of energy in your current engagement to reassure yourself that you will absolutely go farther in your choice whatever betides and you will discover yourself in total achievable goals.
