Ultimately, the best fashion is what you like for your personal style. Even though the fashion trend-setters say what's in or out, you should always dress to flatter your figure as well as age appropriate. So fashion can depend on body type, age, fashion category, gender, and your personal preferences.

For Fall and Winter 2024, we're looking at the color red, mostly in accessories like bags, belts, shoes and sunglasses. Also in for Fall/Winter are metallics for clothing, hot pink, fringe. Wear it if it looks good on you. Also in are extra large bags, silver jewelry, scarves and blanket scarves for Winter, but infinity scarves are out, Cardigans, Jumpsuits only in a trendy color or print, button vests, bell sleeves, lace, rompers, shorts and capris are all in style. Cropped jackets, Biker jackets and Bomber jackets are in.

To discuss what is "Out" for this year, do not take it to heart. Wear whatever you like, but not popular this year are patterned leggings, hoodies (but they will return in 2025). Barbie Pink, low waisted jeans, leather leggings, kimono blouses and cold shoulder shirts, camo jackets, jogger pants have all seen their better days and are out of style.

These suggestions circulate around the fashion world but hang on to whatever you like because some styles make a comeback and you'll be glad you saved them, Wear what makes you feel good, that's my motto ! Trends come and go, so stick with the clothing, accessories, shoes and hair styles that you love !

Hi xochilt

There is this popular quote that reads "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", this is to say, what might appear beautiful to you might be ugly to another and what is worst for you may be best for some one else. The question of best design varies from one Individual to another, from one tribe to another and from one country to another etc.

My definition of the best design is a design that is authentic and original, no matter how simple or sophisticated it is. Here is what I look out for when considering designs. I look out for: My Clients' Comfort, Age, Event, style, Season and the Region where they are per time. These are the variables I look out for when designing for a particular market too. I hope this helps.

Best,
Edu Elizabeth

That's a great question, but there isn't one single "best" fashion design! Fashion is subjective and depends on a variety of factors:

Individual preferences: People have different tastes and styles. What one person finds stunning, another might find boring.
Trends and era: Fashion is constantly evolving. Styles that were popular in the 90s might not be considered trendy today.
Functionality and occasion: A practical outfit for hiking wouldn't be the best choice for a formal event.
Cultural influences: Different cultures have distinct fashion aesthetics.
However, there are definitely designs that have been widely celebrated for their innovation, cultural impact, or lasting influence. Here are a few examples:

The little black dress by Coco Chanel: A timeless piece known for its elegance and versatility.
The Levi's 501 jeans: A classic design that revolutionized casual wear.
The tuxedo: A symbol of formal menswear that originated in the 19th century.
Here are some resources to explore a wider range of influential fashion design:

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Collection: https://www.metmuseum.org/about-the-met/collection-areas/the-costume-institute
Fashion history websites: There are many websites dedicated to fashion history, showcasing iconic designs from different eras.
Ultimately, the "best" fashion design is the one that makes you feel confident and reflects your unique style!
