If you can, I would highly suggest living on campus for a variety of reasons. Living on campus was the highlight of my college experience and I ended up meeting my best friends (it's been five years and we are still as close as ever). At no other time in your life will you be living with a bunch of people your age with little supervision. Due to the sheer number of people your age living in close proximity, it is a great opportunity to meet friends, significant others, and others to remain close with for the remainder of college/life.

Living on campus does come with some headaches as there is a possibility of having to live with a roommate that you may not get along with 100% of the time. Nonetheless, having a good amount of patience, not ignoring issues and talking to your roommate, and being understanding can help mitigate some of the frustration of having to live with a roommate.

I hope this helps in your decision.

Best,

This depends on many elements. Is it more affordable to live on or off campus? Are you close to home and can leave there while attending school to save money? Ultimately, living on campus does give you convenience of walking to class, meeting new people and having access to resources that you may miss if you would typically leave class and head home immediately afterwards.
