Colleen’s Career Stories
What is the one piece of career advice you wish someone gave you when you were younger?
NETWORKING! A Leader I work with says "It's not about who you know, it's about who knows you!" I couldn't of said it better! EVERY time you meet a new person really take a minute or 10 minutes to really get to know something about them other than their name. You never know if your next big opportunity could be with them. :) Also, do your best NOT TO "BURN BRIDGES", always leave on a POSITIVE note and do not talk bad about people. Why? It's a small world out there and the odds of that person coming back around to your world is VERY high!! CHALLENGE - Try to meet someone new each day! TIP - Repeating a person's name three times after you meet them as it should help it to stick!
