I'm interested in medicine; therefore, I'm planning to become a trauma surgeon. My second consideration is an ER doctor. However, I do not want to work in the traditional hospital setting. I want to work in the United Nations or Doctors Without Boarders. Specifically, I want to work in the Middle East.
Context: The pre-med track is so flexible that a student can chose any major as long as the students takes all the prerequisites required for the medical school of their choice and excels in the MCAT examination. Therefore, I'm consider in majoring in something business related, such as Finance, General Business, or International Business; however, at the moment I'm not sure which major specifically. Above, I already know that I want to attend Harvard Medical School and I have already researched their prerequisites. Therefore, I'm looking into colleges that are well-known for their medical foundation for undergraduate. In order to obtain acceptance to these colleges, I have been studying for the ACT and SAT, maintaining my 4.0 GPA, and taking advance placement courses. I'm also filling out as many scholarships as possible to fund my education.
