Scott R. Evans

Hello!

My name is Scott and my passions in my professional and personal life have led to some wonderful and interesting experiences that I hope to share with others to help guide and carve their own paths.

Growing up I was positive I going to be an artist. This dream eventually evolved into a passion for architecture. As a young man I enjoyed the tangibility of the work and how people interacted with it. The idea that other people would walk through the halls or up a staircase of a building I helped design was enthralling to me.
However, I was certain I needed to learn about the world of business first and ended up with a degree in finance and delusions of designing the next skyscraper during the tail end of housing crisis of the late 2000s when more licensed architects around the country were being laid off than there were actually coming out graduate programs (true story!). After some reflection on what I wanted out of a career I landed on Healthcare Administration and this is where I have spent the first 10 years of my professional career.

The world of Healthcare is challenging, frustrating, rewarding and fulfilling all in one and while I may never build a cityscape altering tower in a major metropolitan city, I am thrilled that my work has a positive impact on peoples lives each and every day.

This meandering career path has allowed me to gain a lot of interesting experiences, perspectives and skillsets as well as challenged me to really think about my own values and what I want out of a career.
