About
I started off as a Radiologic technologist. I worked with handicapped children taking their x rays in the department and also the Operating room. After 8 years of doing that my physics professor came to my place of work and recruited me to be in the first MRI program in the state of Illinois. There was one book, Bushong. When I graduated there wasn't even a registry yet. I was a pioneer of MRI.
So here I am, 32 years later, almost ready to retire from a full blown career in MRI. I have worked at mostly university hospitals.
I was able to live a comfortable life as an MRI technologist. I do recommend this career.
