I am a rising high school Junior homeschool student. I am very interested in fulfilling, hands-on careers in farming, midwifery, childcare, and the culinary arts, subject I've held lifelong interest in. I am also very passionate about history (namely food, clothing, architecture, and art), classic literature, creative writing, and music, especially musical theatre and jazz. After high school I am looking into ways to experience the culture and traditions of Europe through exchange programs such as au pair, WWOOF, workaway, etc. I am also looking into classical 4 year colleges to study English and/or history, namely St. John's College, Templeton Honors College, and the University of Dallas.

In the future, my greatest ambition is to have a homestead where I can grow organic foods using sustainable and traditional methods. I am interested in gardening, orchards, poultry, and home dairy in addition to traditional skills and crafts such as foraging, herbal medicine, food preservation, sewing, and baking. Part of my dream would be starting a family and passing these skills along to my children.
