Charity’s Career Goals
My ultimate career goal is to become a compassionate and effective victim advocate, using both my lived experiences and academic training to support women and children affected by domestic violence, neglect, and human trafficking. I am committed to creating safe, empowering spaces for survivors to heal, grow, and reclaim their voices. As a first-generation college graduate, I understand the value of perseverance, and I aim to extend that strength to others by building trust, providing resources, and advocating for long-term change. Beyond working locally, I plan to expand my advocacy efforts globally, reaching underserved communities that lack vital victim support services. My mission is to be a voice for the unheard, a guide for the lost, and a force for justice wherever it’s needed most.

About
I’m a dedicated social work student with a focus on victimology and criminology, driven by a deep passion for advocacy and justice. As a first-generation college student and a survivor, I bring both lived experience and academic knowledge to my work. My goal is to empower women and children who have been affected by domestic violence, neglect, and human trafficking. I believe that healing begins with compassion, and I’m committed to creating pathways for survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and strength.
Currently pursuing my degree while actively seeking opportunities to grow in the field, I’m especially interested in building connections with professionals who are making an impact through advocacy, community outreach, and global humanitarian work. Whether through internships, shadowing, or mentorship, I’m eager to learn, serve, and contribute to meaningful change—both locally and internationally.
Let’s connect and create something powerful together.
