I am a high school senior and will be graduating in May 2018 from Mojave High School in Las Vegas. I have been accepted into the University of California, San Diego for Fall 2018. I plan to pursue a major in psychology and then join the health field with the goal to assist people and to promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy mind. I am part of the National Honor Society and I also volunteer at a local museum. I am really looking forward to a great college experience but one of the greatest challenges to this is the financial burden. I am the eldest sibling of four children. My parents have been struggling with being able to provide for us and I want to work hard to lift my own weight. One of the greatest steps towards my dream is to win scholarships.
