Hello Piper!

To truly thrive as an Office Administrator, a diverse skill set is essential. Key abilities include organization, project management, and interpersonal skills. The role of an office administrator is typically divided into two main areas: project work and daily office and employee support.

The daily tasks can often be unpredictable, requiring you to switch from a project focus to addressing an employee's needs or resolving an office issue. The nature of project work can vary greatly depending on the company, but it usually involves strategic thinking, project planning, drafting communications, or event planning.

As a newcomer to this role, don't hesitate to ask for clarification if a request seems unclear. Strive to fulfill your commitments with excellence. Building a reputation as a reliable individual who consistently delivers quality work will likely lead to greater involvement in projects.

Wishing you the best of luck on your exciting journey!
