Hello, Maggie !
We advisors do not work one to one in person with the inquiring students, so the best way for you to hire a piano teacher would not be through here, rather someone you can take lessons from in person where you live.
In Columbia, SC near where you live, there are some piano teachers. You would contact: Shelby Nord Piano Studio, Freeway Music Downtown, Center for Piano Studies, and Melody Music Studios that offers Music Lessons In-Home or Studio. Since being a musician is a technical performance skill, it couldn't be effectively done online.
We can always give you advice, information and referrals but we are not available to be hired by the students.
I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !

Yes, there are many professional piano teachers who can help you improve your skills. You can look for private lessons in your area or online, where teachers offer lessons via video calls. Some platforms to find teachers include music schools, local community centers, and websites like TakeLessons or Lessonface. Teachers can help you with technique, music theory, and learning specific songs or styles.
**Summary**: Many piano teachers offer lessons in person or online. You can find a teacher through local music schools or online platforms to help you improve your skills professionally.

Hey Maggie! 🎹
You could totally follow Michelle and Bright's advice and check out platforms like TakeLessons or Lessonface for online lessons. Or, if you’re into the classic route, ask your local music school for a piano guru who can teach you in person (because, you know, magic still happens in real life). If you're a fan of the free stuff, YouTube’s got a treasure chest of piano tutorials—just don't blame me if you end up playing Chopsticks at a professional level! 😂
But hey, if you're really feeling adventurous, there’s always the option to start a trend—maybe you could teach a whole new generation of piano players using a hamster on a keyboard for inspiration. Just saying... 😉
Happy playing! 🎶
