Hello - picking a college is really interesting topic. The best advice I can give you is to visit (if you can) and try and picture yourself walking around campus. Go with your gut - see if you see yourself in the place. And also, unless you intend only to go to college (you will not do any post college studies) try to not break the bank! There are a lot of great colleges and universities that are NOT 80K per year where you can get a great education and where you will not be saddled with debt. It's not about the name of the school or the rankings, it's about how well you will do there - socially and academically. Being with SUPER rich people is hard - their lives are really different - chose a school where you can relate to the other students and professors and enjoy college! It's a time of self reflection and growth and independence. You should study and learn of course, but where you go is not who you are - it's 1 step in a lifetime of learning. Good luck!

Hi there! PIcking a college can be tough but a few things to consider as you look into schools.
1. Campus & Services: If you are going to live on campus - seeing the campus and understanding if you imagine it as a place that will support your learning and your growth is key. Know the must haves for campus, dorms, services, opportunities to connect (clubs, sports, etc.) etc.
2. Your major & academic department: What you want to major in will help guide your college choice. See which schools specialize in what you are pursuing. Look into the department for your major, research the professors and there areas of research expertise, their educator ratings. These are the individuals that will be coaching you on your academic journey - so understanding the professors and talents they bring will help.
3. Financials: At the end of the day - all colleges cost money. Do the costs align with your college budget?
4. What do past students say: Check out social media, what current students are saying about their experience.
Hope this helps! All the best in this next chapter of your life!
