How important is networking with fellow students and staff as a business administration major? #Spring25?
I will be pursuing a business administration at UGA in the fall with hopes of going to law school after to be a cooperate lawyer.

One of the best ways to learn is by connecting with others and hearing about their experiences. I highly recommend networking, and meeting in person is always the best option.

I've had some success with networking. It's great to meet people and keep in touch, but it can be overwhelming to have too many business cards from an event. I keep notes on my phone with contact details and choose a few people to follow up with.
My first job after college came from working at Starbucks. I met a marketing manager there who was between jobs. When he got a new position, I made sure to get his number, and we went over my resume. When a job opened up, he already knew my work and asked me to interview!
Remember, the best contacts often come from unexpected places!
