Hi. There are some tips that helped me. So you can try them if they will work on you.
The first one is writing and recording. It is well known that writing helps to memorize things better, but mostly we don't have enough time to listen and to write and to understand at once. I started recording classes, while still writing. But when I want to put all my mind to listening and understanding I stop writing. Before I continue i leave some place for what I didn't write. So at home I have a recording, listen again to lecture and fill all missing parts in my notes.
Learning with someone is a good way also. You can organize a little team and do homework together. Like in real life or group call. You do your own hw and when you have question - ask teammates not the internet. another trick hides in this trick. It can help you when teammate asks about smth and you explain because we memorize this better when we explain stuff to another person.

That’s awesome you're planning ahead!
Here’s how to make the most of college (and prep for it now too):
Focus on understanding, not memorizing – Try to teach the topic to yourself or someone else. If you can explain it simply, you get it.
Use visuals & examples – Mind maps, charts, or real-life stories make info easier to remember.
Break it up – Study in small chunks (25-30 mins), take short breaks. It’s called the Pomodoro technique—it works!
Ask questions – In class or in your notes. The more curious you are, the better your brain holds info.
Use tools – Try apps like Quizlet (flashcards), Notion, or YouTube videos that explain concepts differently.
Practice > cram – Repetition over time sticks better than last-minute cramming.
You’ve got the passion—just build good habits now, and you’ll crush it in college and grad school! 💪
