Time Management is key.

Here are some things you can do to ensure success in college without burnout & hopefully have fun as well:

1. Know your class schedule & plan your activities, breaks and extracurriculars on a calendar. You can use Google calendar or any other that you prefer.
2. Modify your schedule around exams and peak periods by slowing down on other activities.
3. Be structured and study regularly to avoid cramming during exams and added stress.
4. Use office hours, TA sessions and any other resources that are available. These are a great way to clarify questions & concepts, while also making new connections.
5. Find study groups that suit your style of learning. NOTE: Not everyone benefits from study group; if you are not sure, try small groups 1st and see if they are helping or whether you prefer to study alone.
6. College is also the time to explore new hobbies, extracurriculars etc. Find things that interest you & try something new. Get involved in community events & activities - it's a great way to build your network while giving back in your own way.
7. While partying may sound fun, know your boundaries and be sensible.
8. Prioritize sleep & your well-being. The better sleep & better health you are in, you will have greater focus in & oustide of class and be able to do your best.
9. Set goals for yourself; start with small goals & reward yourself when you meet the goal. It can be something as simple as getting ice-cream with your friends.
10. Be patient with yourself and others - like you , everyone is learning to be independent & no one is perfect. If something doesn't go exactly as planned, don't fret. Instead, take a pause and evaluate what you could do differently next time.
11. Enjoy the process & be open-minded - you will find yourself having more fun and discovering yourself.

Good luck in college!

Thank you for your question. The most important is to do good time management and build up good study habits.
Firstly, you need to find a good time management tool to help.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Put down the time you need to attend classes
2. Assign some time every day on your assignment, projects, etc. and review the material covered in the class on the day. If you have any questions, ask the tutor on the next school day
3. Make sure you have enough time to sleep and do some exercise
4. Assign some time on weekends for leisure and friends & family gathering
5. Allocate more time for revision before assessment
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
