Hey Sabelo, it’s awesome that you’re looking to pursue modeling while also working on your music. Both are creative paths that can really complement each other! Now, Basically, Starting with modeling, it’s about a combination of things, I would say, the right mindset, some preparation, and getting your foot in the door.

First off, it’s important to focus on building your confidence and your style. A lot of the fashion world is about how you carry yourself and your unique look, so embrace what makes you stand out. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different looks that suit you, whether it’s high fashion, casual wear, or art-inspired shoots. That’ll help you find your vibe. Next, you’ll need some basic portfolio photos. You don’t need to hire a professional photographer right away, you can start with a few good photos of yourself, preferably with natural light, wearing simple outfits that show off your personality. These photos can be sent to potential agents or companies when you're reaching out. I mean it may not be so as many say, but you can do this to build that confidence in front of the camera which you will need honestly, and learn to change faster....right you gotta be hustle steady.

To connect with the industry, you can start small by reaching out to local modeling agencies or even independent photographers who are building their portfolios. There are also platforms where you can connect with brands and photographers directly, like Instagram or fashion-specific sites.
And, One thing to keep in mind is that while you’re working on your modeling, stay true to your music career too. Both can open doors for you in different creative circles, and you might even find opportunities where they overlap. Also, being 18 is perfect, you’ve got plenty of time to grow, network, and experiment with different aspects of modeling.

And, don’t get discouraged by setbacks. This industry can take time to get into, but with passion and persistence, you’ll get there. Just keep hustling in both music and modeling, and your dream will come closer each day!Feel free to always ask if you got any questions and wishing you all the best buddy.
