Hey Crimson! 👋
Lemme just say, You’re doing exactly what so many wish they’d done earlier.....starting your scholarship search before the stress hits. That’s already a win. 🙌
There are some top-tier scholarships out there like the Coca-Cola Scholars, QuestBridge, and GE-Reagan Foundation, but don’t sleep on smaller or local ones — a lot of students overlook them, which actually makes them easier to win. Also I had say Chiquria Willis, mentioned a great tip: national scholarships are awesome, but many students land more success when they mix those with niche opportunities based on background, field of study, or even unique traits (like community service, leadership, first-gen status, etc). So do take that advice and put in some work Crimson and I ma sure you will be getting it in no time.....but needs time ofcourse.
Now, A lot of seniors I’ve seen go through this process say they picked their scholarship strategy based on:
What fits their identity (e.g. first-gen, low income, specific ethnic group),
Their intended major (STEM, arts, business, nursing — there’s a scholarship for almost every path), and
The story they’re most confident telling — passion matters a lot in those essay rounds.
And a fun fact I always mention is that Most students give up applying after 2-3 rejections. Those who keep going are usually the ones who achieve it along the path.
Keep going, keep applying , and remember, even one “yes” can make all the difference. Proud of how proactive you are already! Good Luck out there buddy.

Going Merry (super user-friendly I heard so you can give it a check)
Bold.org – new but growing fast, some students did try on from this.
Cappex – lets you compare schools + scholarships, so start searching now!
