How do you actually commit to a college?

I've heard from some of my friends you email to let the college know you've committed, however, some say to just follow steps to enroll.

Hi April, congrats on your college acceptance!

Once you receive your acceptance letter (or email), the school will likely provide you with the next steps should you decide to enroll. I would recommend following the steps that they send you, it will walk you through everything you need to do now, and in the coming months before school starts.

Good luck!

First, you need to send your application to the college or university. You'll need to include your high school transcripts, pay an application fee, and fill out some other forms, which you can find on the school's registration website. Just follow their instructions. If you're accepted, you'll get a letter in the mail saying congratulations, along with details on what to do next, like attending orientation and meeting with an advisor. Once you're accepted, it's up to you to decide if you want to go there. If you do, visit the school and set up a meeting with an advisor who can guide you through everything.
