What is some advice that can be used to successfully make it through college in 4 years?

I am currently a high school senior that envisions himself in a future career that involves policing whether that be state police, border patrol, or local police force, and enforcing the law.

Time in college and university is a time for you to learn and grow. It can be the greatest life experience. Don't stay too focused on just your major. Explore some alternate courses as well. It is a time to volunteer, join clubs and find part time jobs and summer jobs. It all goes to life experience and make you a better candidate than someone right out of high school or who was totally focused on law courses and did nothing else. Enjoy your time in school. I did 6 years post secondary school before becoming a police officer and spend two years in the Reserves (Infantry). These were great learning experiences for me and served me well as a police officer for 30 years with 18 of those years as a detective. Enjoy but don't do anything stupid in school if you know what I mean.

Hi! Making it through college in 4 years is doable. I did it. And many of my friends did as well. I'd advise you to make decisions and choices for your path. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. This is your journey. Strive for progress, not perfection. Consistent steps will get you to your goal.

Stay organized and manage your time well. Academics are important, but it is also important to take time and have fun. Finding a healthy balance will allow you to excel in school and enjoy college.

Be open to new experiences. Embrace opportunities, learn from challenges and enjoy the journey. You are going to do great!
