How do you start a blog?

I as a teen, I value wellness, through eating habits and exercise. I have explored this field and found that is dominated by woman, who are in adulthood. I would like to create a space for people my age to find support, as these woman bloggers do.

While you have multiple options to choose a blog platform (wix, blogger, wordpress, medium), writing consistent helpful articles and cross posting them in multiple social media channels is the key.

Since you would like to be a thought leader in a specific niche (for teens about living a healthy life style and focusing on wellness), you can start being active on Facebook groups that already have a following base and start providing valuable information. You can also join the meet-up groups as well as Lean-In organizations events (it is a global community dedicated to helping women achieve their ambitions). Lean-In is founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.

This way you can have more visibility, start building the network as well as inspire this audience. Also, make sure that you are active on the comments section.

Answering the questions, doing a well established research on the topics and even partnering with professionals within the industry can also help you develop more content and follower base on your blog. Most importantly, blogging is mostly seen as "an easy job" but in reality it is not that easy. At the beginning stage, you won't have hundreds and thousands of followers or page visitors but you shouldn't give up.

If you put the effort, you can totally create a well established blog and even have a well established business around it in the long run as well.

Giselle recommends the following next steps:

Choose among the blogging platforms based on your needs (Example: wix is a platform where you don't need coding skills and it is drag and drop while wordpress is free and it requires more work while building the platform from scratch)
Don't give up. Establishing a big blogging channel takes time but it is worth it. (this is the most important part)
Be active on the comments, feedbacks and engage with your visitors (in order to build a loyal follower base)
Consistency on the content production ( at least once a month)
Cross-platform promotion in different social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Medium etc..)

Blogging, in simple words is described as an online journal in which you share your thoughts about specific topics for others to read online. I prefer to describe it as an easy interface to publish your content on the web.

Blogs can be written from a personal perspective, such as what you do on a daily basis to any interesting topic. There is a blog for almost any topic you can imagine as well as a variety of offers.

Many popular blogs are written like a journal informing users of the latest trends. You can see blogs written by stay-at-home moms to blogs maintained by large organizations.

Here are the 7 easy and magical steps to start blogging in 2021:

Pick a niche for your blog
Find the perfect domain name for your blog
Employ a reputed web hosting service provider for your blog
Manage and run your own WordPress blog
Find an eye-catching theme for your blog
Install WordPress Plugins
Write your first blog post and ta

I started my blog in college and still write on it today. I would recommend Wordpress as a great website to start. There is a free version and you can customize the theme. Write about what you're passionate about and share it with family/friends. I post my blog to my social media sites, but you don't have to. You're never too young to start!

Alex recommends the following next steps:

There are a bunch of blog platforms you could use. I'd recommend Wordpress but research others!
Design your blog and ask people you trust for feedback.
Starting writing and posting :) you determine how often and what to write about.

One piece of advice is to make sure you know exactly who your target audience will be. In other words, what audience do you want to serve/support? The more you know what audience you're excited to serve and bring value to the more likely you are to build followers/readership.
