Lucy, congratulations on reaching the interview stage! Here are some tips to help you prepare:
1. Focus on the two main aspects of daycare: caring for children and being part of a business. During your interview, share your experiences and interests in both areas.
2. When asked about caring for children, discuss your past experiences with care, including the different types of care you've provided and your understanding of care procedures and rules. This shows you are a well-rounded caregiver.
3. Emphasize your interest in contributing to the daycare's success as a business. This shows you are committed to its growth.
4. If you're in the USA, mention if you've already completed a background check. Even though they will do their own, it shows you understand the process. If you haven't had one yet, express your willingness to undergo any necessary checks, showing you understand their importance.
Good luck with your interview!
