Thank you for your question. I am glad to know that you have interest in motors.
Below are my suggestions:
1. There are many motor related careers, eg mechanical engineer, car designer, race car driver, car tester, maintenance technician, etc. You can find out more car related careers online.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

This may sound a bit old-fashioned, but I believe that pursuing an apprenticeship is the best approach. By doing so, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside more experienced professionals in the field. Many people jump into small jobs right away, but you don’t necessarily have to follow that path. I recommend reaching out to someone in the industry to gain valuable trade skills.

Believe it or not, there are certifications you can obtain that will greatly enhance your resume and lead to more work opportunities. Often, those who offer these certifications are also involved in hiring circles and can inform you about job openings. Engaging with the industry will not only help you land jobs but also enhance your education, especially if there are community colleges or trade schools nearby.

Make sure to gather any necessary documentation to help you stand out. While you're working on this, you can still gain experience at a local garage. There's no reason you can’t also pursue online courses or other educational opportunities. Additionally, take the time to learn about modern car maintenance practices, and this will help you climb the career ladder.

Hi Dylen,
Working in automotive with motors is a very lucrative yet demanding career. You will need to go to a specialty school to study motors and get the general idea of their workings and how to repair them. Since there are many types of motors; the motors from small cars or the motors from large 18 wheelers, there's a lot to learn about the different styles, pieces and parts. You will need to spend probably about a good two to three years in study of those particular items. After that you might have to pass a couple of exams to show your knowledge and get a certificate that you are a specialist in handling those items. You can apply for jobs in various shops or industries that use motors and need people to repair them or look them over.
