That sounds like a very interesting career path. I am not in that field but I believe you can go a lot of different ways creating mechanical devices such as prosthetics, vaccines, robotics in surgery. One suggest I have would be for you to check YouTube as I noted there are quite a few young folks on that same path and they have made videos talking about their experiences. Good luck!

Hey Aurora :) I cannot speak to this firsthand as I did not study biomedical engineering, but I have a few friends that have studied it so I can provide a least a little bit of context. You do certainly have lots of options of things to do, but my answer will only give a few of them!
1. My friends that have studied biomedical engineering and gone into industry work for medical device companies either doing design for various medical devices or tools, manufacturing (making the devices), or medical device sales (later stage career people).
2. Some have gone to work for some of the more popular vaccine companies, but I am not sure what they specifically do for work.
3. Others have decided to go to medical school to become a doctor.
4. Others have gone to graduate school right after undergrad to get more research experience in biomedical related items:
- Some research biomedical robots
- Some research bio-mechanics (how the muscles and bodies work/react and the forces on them)
- Some research more bio related items on the level on cells or muscle tissues and how they work.
