At what point did you realize a career in the culinary field of work was for you?

To elaborate, like at what age did you realize, or even what in your life made you truly know this was the right fit for you?

I have always loved cooking. From a young age, I was helping in the kitchen and was very interested in food. I started taking cooking classes early on, and my passion grew from there. During school, I improved my skills and found my specialty in certain types of cooking. Follow your passion!

I started working in a kitchen at 14, washing dishes. I then started helping the cooks, and then I went to school. I am now a teacher and have been cooking for over 50 years. You have to ask yourself if you like it. I hope this helps you and wish you good luck.
