Hello, Caden !

If you are already in theology school studying Youth Ministry, you will have to ask your current school to advise you about an internship.

It is known that the Rock Point Church in Crawfordsville offers a training program, residency with an internship there for those that attend that program. You didn't mention which seminary you're attending or if it's a University as such. You would have to attend the whole program at Rock Point Church to experience an internship, but if you are already someplace doing your study you'd have to stay with the program you're already in. In other words, you probably can't enter in the middle of Rock Point's program.

That being said, I left a link to a list of churches in your town. You will probably need to think more on the lines of Volunteer Work. Theology schools typically provide learning experience opportunities for their students. It will be important to ask your seminary professors or teachers about what is included in your program and when do you get the hands on experience. You may be able to do volunteer work at one of the churches listed in the links below. You also didn't mention which denomination you plan to work in, so ask more questions with that information included.

If you are a Theology/Divinity/Religious Studies Major at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, definitely make stronger connections with your teachers. Their website does not give much information but it is said that Wabash provides Internships for their students so my advice is to become informed about when they do Internship placement and seek Volunteer Work in your community until then.

For volunteer work, you should visit the Salvation Army to see about volunteering doing social service work for the community. There are Salvation Army locations in your town and nearby.

So, follow the program that you are currently in and if you want to volunteer to gain some experience in the community working with people try various places. Try not to over commit yourself because something may come about at the program you are currently in. Have your teacher explain the entire program to you.

I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !
