Hello,
I dont know what grade you are in. But if you are still in high school, take as many dual credit classes that you can. That will save you time and money for having to repeat many of the same subjects in a 4yr Bachelor Degree. Once you graduate, find out what degree program you will be pursuing and take as many CLEP tests as you can to earn those required basic credits you still need. For some tests you only need 51% score to earn the credit. As for pay for college after you have earned as many duel credit, AP or CLEP courses as possible, many people are eligible for education grants after working on their own for a year and being removed from parents' taxes as dependents. Or many consider the various branches of the military as reservist. Usually you can not be deployed while in school as a reservist and if your term you sign up for is short enough, you may be able to complete the entire stint while in school. Consider the many branches of the military and all of the career opportunities to pursue if you enlist. Continuing on as a reservist could become a pension/retirement if you do the required 20yrs (i think?). There are other options but these are ones you can ask your school counselors about right now.
