How can I be organized?

I wonder how ot deal with school, work, family time, and time for myself. I know college can be a lot of work, especially me going into the medical field.

Hi Vanessa. Staying organized can be challenging, especially when you are balancing school, work, family time, and personal time. But, you can use a planner or a digital calendar to plan ahead. Write down your class deadlines, work schedule, family events, and even your free time. Having everything in one place helps you see what your week looks like so you can plan ahead instead of rushing at the last minute. Setting reminders on your phone can also help make sure you don't forget important tasks.

Another helpful tip is to break big tasks into smaller steps. For example, study a little bit each day, like reviewing one chapter at a time. This makes schoolwork feel less stressful and helps you stay consistent. Since the medical field requires a lot of studying and time management, starting these habits now will help you later on.

You can also set specific times for certain things, like studying in the late afternoon, spending time with family after dinner, and keeping one day or evening just for yourself. When you divide your time clearly, it becomes easier to focus and stay calm.
