Hi Ernesto. One of the most helpful things you can do is practice good time management. In college, teachers won't remind you about assignments as much, so you'll need to keep track of your own work, including writing down homework, test dates, study time, and activities.
Preparing for big tests is another important skill. Instead of cramming the night before, you can study a little bit each day. For example, if you have a big history test, you can review one chapter or section a day. This helps you remember the material better and keeps you from feeling overwhelmed. You can also try different study methods like rewriting notes or teaching the material to someone else. If you can explain it clearly, you probably understand it well.
Organizing your subjects is also helpful. A good strategy is to start with the hardest subject first when your brain is fresh. Then move on to easier work. Keeping your notes and folders neat will help you find what you need quickly. When your schoolwork is organized, studying becomes a lot less stressful.
Good study habits are important too. Try studying in a quiet space with as few distractions as possible. You need to put your phone away or on silent so you're not tempted to check it. Study in short sessions, like 25-30 minutes, then take a short break. This keeps your focus strong without burning out. Hope this helps. All the best.
