What advice would you give to promote perseverance when knowing that AI and market struggles can remove jobs or increase working standards? How can others ensure that they will find a job that will not be replaced by AI, but ensuring that their creativity and happiness remains intact??

Thinking about a computer science degree, though many jobs are being replaced or modified with AI.

Hi Evan. You need to update your skills and pay attention to new trends. If you want a job that is less likely to be replaced by AI, you should focus on skills that require human thinking, creativity, and empathy. These are the things AI isn't good at. Even in computer science, many roles depend on big-picture problem-solving, understanding human needs, or making important decisions. These tasks are difficult for AI to handle alone.

Careers like cybersecurity, system design, AI ethics, and user experience design still rely heavily on human judgment and creativity. By building both technical skills and strong "human" skills, you make yourself valuable in ways AI cannot copy.

Most importantly, make sure you choose a path that you genuinely enjoy. If you study computer science because you love solving problems, creating new things, or understanding how technology works, then AI becomes something that helps you, not something that threatens your future. You can also explore different areas within computer science, such as design, research, or education. The field is wide, and you can combine it with your personal interests to create a career that feels meaningful. All the best!
