John’s Answer

I noticed there aren't any answers yet. While I'm not a marine biologist, my brother-in-law studied to become one. He went to Hawaii over 30 years ago and, although he didn't pursue a career in it, he still loves living there.

I recently visited Hawaii and met a waiter on a sunset boat trip who was studying to be a marine biologist. He was really excited about working with a local program on one of the islands to help some creatures, which interestingly, were on land, not in the ocean. It seems like a great way to earn credits for his degree. Hawaii offers wonderful learning opportunities and ways to make a living.

I want to encourage you to pursue your goal. This is a field where you can truly make a difference. The oceans are vast and still need exploration and understanding. This is something AI can't replace. You have the chance to impact the world and help save unique creatures. Good luck!
