Hi William. The most effective way to manage your time in college is to stay organized and plan ahead. You can use a planner or digital calendar to schedule classes, study time, meals, and social activities. Setting daily or weekly goals also helps you stay on track, especially when multiple assignments are due at the same time.
Prioritizing your tasks is also very important. You should focus first on what is urgent or important, like major assignments or exams, before smaller or less pressing tasks.
In college, it's easy to get involved in too many clubs, events, or social activities, which can hurt your grades. Therefore, you should learn to say no and choose a few activities you really enjoy. At the same time, making time for hobbies, friends, and relaxation is essential for your mental health and motivation.
Using campus resources is another way to save time and manage responsibilities. Tutoring centers, study groups, and academic advisors can help you understand difficult material faster and make your study time more effective.

If you still can, sign up for as many dual credit courses as you can. Take as many CLEP tests as you can as well. The more college credits you earn now, the more time and money you will save later.
