How do I break into the business and tech side of Formula 1?

I’m a college student interested in working in Formula 1, specifically on the business, management, or tech/analytics side. I’m planning to major in business and minor in MIS and sports management, and I want to know what skills, internships, or early steps actually help someone get into F1. I also want advice on what companies or roles to look at as stepping stones toward working with a team.

Cool goal! One way to break in is to look at brands that sponsor Formula 1 and to see if they have relevant jobs or internships open. Another is if you are in the city to apply to work on site to add this experience. Alternately you can also kick of you career at sporting events in general to start building a resume. Any way you can start demonstrating competency in business, management, or tech relating to sports or event management is a step in the right direction to differentiate.
