How do I break into the business and tech side of Formula 1?
I’m a college student interested in working in Formula 1, specifically on the business, management, or tech/analytics side. I’m planning to major in business and minor in MIS and sports management, and I want to know what skills, internships, or early steps actually help someone get into F1. I also want advice on what companies or roles to look at as stepping stones toward working with a team.
What would be the steps to getting into F1 academy as a pit stop mechanic if I’m a 9th grader?
I love racing, ESPECIALLY Formula One, and hope to someday work in the pit stop crew for F1 Academy, but I’m concerned about how I’ll get there. I currently take extracurricular classes in STEM and do work hard to keep my grades up, just need some advice on what I should take class-wise, and/or do outside of school to get eventually excepted into F1 Academy. Thanks!
Tips/advice for high school student wanting to pursue engineering?
I’ve always had an interest in science and have decided I want to go into engineering in college, specifically majoring in MechE. As someone who is taking a year ahead my grade in math but is not specifically very good nor bad at it, is it unrealistic for me to want to pursue engineering? I can work very hard when I need to, especially for things I’m passionate about, so should I reconsider engineering. My ultimate goal is to working the motorsports field as a design engineer and I would seriously do anything to get there. I understand and learn programs very quickly and am relatively proficient with a CAD program my school provides, and would love to know other ways to get involved with CAD and engineering as a junior year high school student. I am also planning to take AP physics next year but am in Pre-Calculus this year, so I was wondering which AP physics course I should take with my current math knowledge.
What is the best avenue to getting a job as an engineer on a Formula 1 team?
I have dreamed of being on a Formula 1 team as an engineer, but I feel at a loss as to how I can get there. I struggle to know what the steps to achieving such a career even are. Right now I am in the midst of my College journey, Studying Mechanical Engineering. Outside of class I am part of a formula SAE team. I struggle to see what I should pursue after college in order to get a position in Formula 1.
Does anyone know of any opportunity for American highs chool students with F1 ?
I am a high school student in the US, which doesn't leave a ton of opportunities for careers in formula one or any formula series. I am wondering if anybody knows of any internships or early programs that can be completed in the US as a junior or senior in high school. My dream would be to work with the Mercedes AMG F1 team in the future but also love the Mclaren racing team, so would love to see opportunities there as well. Thanks all!
What jobs should I look into based on my interests?
Hi all. I've thought I wanted to be a dermatologist for a while now but I'm having doubts in my capability to do so. I am very passionate for Motorsports like formula one, and would totally work in that realm if I had the chance. I would also totally work corporate. I am in high school still but I'm super stressed over what I'm to do with my life and have no idea what to major in. The only thing is I'd prefer to have a very comfortable salary, but find it difficult to find job ideas. I also find myself very drawn to creative or artsy jobs, but hate the pay. Any help or career options?? I will take all the advice I can get... seriously.

How to get into a career in F1?
I'm interested in working something related to Formula 1, not really engineering or as a driver. Probably more Business side of things.
