What if I want two totally different jobs and want to pro-sue both of them?

I'm currently a student at Job Corps in NH and am looking to help design the next generation of Aircraft and space exploration rockets for the United States. I'm taking Adv. manufacturing where my Teacher was a defense contractor and is very knowledgeable about aerospace engineering and has been very informative about the concepts I had a good grasp on but needed more in-depth info on, I want to work in this field because it's my passion. I know I need at least a bachelor's degree and with scholarships I can easily get that done, but from there I do not know where to go, where would I start looking for work? What skills should I continue to develop or start developing now? Where should I consider living for the best chance of being hired?
