Why do art scholarships have such low rewards compared to others?

I am a Graphic Design student attending a career tech school in the 12th grade with a 3.6 GPA. I have completed 2 of the 3 required software certifications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator in under a year.

Scholarships often depend on what's most important and relevant. At most universities, scholarship money is available for many subjects, but art usually gets less funding. Subjects like nursing, education, and law often get more attention and money. It's also important to remember that there's a lot of competition for these funds. Some schools offer scholarships to everyone in certain majors, while others base them on individual talent and performance. Thousands of students apply for these scholarships each year. That's just how it usually works at most colleges and universities. I'm not sure how it is at schools focused solely on the arts.
