I’m partial to Icon myself over the more expensive brands. They perform well and come with a lifetime warranty for a network of local stores as opposed to waiting on traveling tool representatives

First thing, it's not the tool. It's the training that matters. I have owned everything from Pittsburgh, Craftsman, snap-on you name it the list goes on. What I found is that any tool use properly will last your lifetime. It's those individuals such as myself who take an adjustable wrench and turn it into a hammer that really destroys the tools ubiquity and functionality.
Second thing, forget everything you ever thought you knew about a mechanic shop. They're dirty they're messy they smell they're everything 5-year-old bedroom is plus things that can put you in the hospital for more than a couple of days. . Most mechanics are drug addicts or recovering ones or they're thinking about it. Why most places don't drug test. But on that same note some of the best mechanics that you'll have on the market like to go home and enjoy their evening with whatever libation trips are trigger. The point of making is that if you want to be a mechanic and you want to work in the automotive field then you absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt have to love doing what you do. Cuz at the end of the day you're still holding someone's life in your hands every time you hand over the keys to their car and say she's all done ready to go.
