Hi Lauren,
If you are a US citizen or qualifying non-citizen, why would you not submit your FAFSA? Filling the form requires all kinds of financial information about your family to assess your need. So, you need to be comfortable giving that information. But FAFSA gives you access to federal and state financial aid and to work/study programs. Many colleges also use the information on your FAFSA to determine if you qualify for any institutional aid. Unless you are independently wealthy and prefer not to accept any aid, you should submit your FAFSA.
