Is going into the tattooing industry worth it?

I'm a junior in high school wondering what I should do. I plan to go into my family's HVAC business, and my estimated annual income (disregarding taxes and other bills) would be about $110K. But something I've wanted to do for a while is become a tattoo artist.

So what I'm asking: is becoming a tattoo artist worth it?

If you're interested, you should definitely give it a try. Starting as a part-time job alongside your family business is a smart move. Building up a tattoo business will take time, but having the family business for steady income is a great plan. If it makes you happy, it's worth it!
