I think one of the more difficult parts of picking a career is evaluating 1) what your skills, interests, and passions are and 2) aligning those with jobs available to you. Sometimes the job that fits the best out of those three traits is not directly accessible, either though knowledge, skillset, geography, or open positions. I would recommend that if you are interested in a specific field or industry, try some adjacent positions if your "dream" job is not available right away. You will learn valuable skills and experience that will be applicable going forward.

Hi Abraham,

One of the most difficult parts of deciding what job fits you is figuring out how your interests, skills, and values all come together in a particular career. Many people like several things, so it can be hard to choose just one path. Over time, learning more about different jobs, gaining experience, and talking to people in those careers can make the decision clearer. It’s also normal for career goals to change as you grow and learn more about yourself. I’ve changed several times over the years, and I am still on a great path.

Good luck!
Thank you comment icon Thank you for answering my question it is going to be helpful for later in the future. So later when I ‘am deciding what career I want to pursue I can look back on this. Abraham

Choosing a career can be tough because there are so many choices, and it's hard to know what a job is really like until you try it. When you're young, you usually just hear the basics about a job, so it's tricky to figure out if it matches your personality and interests.

For me, the hardest part was finding a career that matched my interests and the kind of impact I wanted to make. I knew I wanted to help people and feel like my work mattered, but there are many jobs like that. It took time to explore different options and see which ones felt right.

You're already on the right track by thinking about this. If you like leading people and helping others succeed, being a medical and health services manager might suit you well. This job involves guiding teams and helping healthcare organizations run smoothly. Remember, you don't have to figure everything out right now. Most people learn more about what they like as they grow and try new things.

Thank you for your question. I am glad to hear you have interest in medical. The most important is to figure out what careers you have interest.
Below are my suggestions:
1. There are many careers related to medical, eg doctor, nurse, vet, physiotherapist, psychologist, dentist, etc. you can find out more online.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
